My motto is “Fashion is what you wear; Style is how you wear it,” and I stand by that, heart & soul! Did you have a uniform or strict dress code in school? I did, but I always found a way to “make it my own.” Maybe there’s something in some of us, that has to push the boundaries a little… We want to be ourselves; be unique, and be comfortable in our own skin!

And that’s ok!

My style is quirky. I’m a geek, not a cool kid. I own multiple Star Wars shirts. I know how to play Magic The Gathering. I collect graphic novels. I wear nerdy statement t-shirts and the occasional blinged-out fanny pack. Why? Because why not? You never know what something is going to look like, until you put it on.

Be creative! Try something new… This Fall, step out of your comfort zone, just a little. It’s hard to keep up with all the trends these days, I know. But find one or two key pieces that you just LOVE, and go play in your closet! You never know what brilliant work of fashion art you might come up with, if you aren’t afraid to experiment a little. Every Michelangelo sculpture started out with clay and a big dose of creativity. Go have FUN with FASHION this Fall!
