I received a beautiful gift: this burnt vintage ribbon Dove bracelet, from Ettika.com. I adore pretty little things, and fell so in love with it’s versatility and girliness, I wanted to style an entire outfit around it. I chose a look that was modern, but with a touch of vintage, pairing an outfit from LOFT with this stunning vintage jacket I found at Serendipity Boutique in Boise! In years past, winter was a time I naturally gravitated towards dark colors for warmth; burgundy, grey, navy, and tons of black. This year, I’ve been inspired by the frosty, crystallized landscape of this city and its surrounding areas, so I’ve jumped out of my comfort zone a little and embraced more pastel hues & winter whites! Every time I put on my pastel pink sunnies, my day becomes just a little bit rosier.
Do you know the great thing about choosing pastel pieces for winter? The fact that they will still be in style come Spring! I just received Lucky Magazine’s Spring Forecast issue, with PASTELS as the main cover trend. Lucky Mag, I’m already there… ^_^

Thank you, Mark! We drove out past Lucky Peak reservoir a little ways, and pulled off the road when we saw a spot that looked pretty. There was so much beautiful scenery out there! 🙂
