Next Friday, March 20th 2014, marks the third visit of international shoe and handbag designer Donald J. Pliner to Boise. His last stop in our fair city was in 2012, when he met with fans and customers at Dillard’s to autograph both past and newly-purchased Pliner shoes.

Mr. Pliner grew up working in his family’s shoe store, bought his own store in 1967, and by the 1980’s was world-renowned for his beautiful designs and revolutionary techniques in footwear. Donald J. Pliner creates stunning and artistic shoes, boots, sandals, and handbags, with a focus on comfort that is (sadly) rare in the current world of women’s shoes! ” His motto is: “When the feet are uncomfortable, so is the mind, so is the body, so is the soul.” (Source: http://www.fashionzest.com/)
