hottest trending item right now is the white jacket. Bloggers and other fashion-forward ladies are throwing white jackets over anything; tank tops and jeans (like me!), dresses, sweaters… everything! It’s a quick & easy way to brighten up your wardrobe, and look super-chic at the same time. Oh, and it helps you STAY WARM, because it’s spring, lol – still crisp and cool in my neck of the woods! I picked up this faux-leather jacket at Forever 21 for under $30. Love it!

Jacket: Forever 21 / Jeans: Loft Modern Skinny (Best fitting jean under $100 I’ve found in ages! They’re my new faves.)/ Tank: Nordstrom Rack / Shoes: Tildon, Nordstrom Rack / Clutch: Just for 5 Pounds

Side note: how cool is this clutch? Online shopping retailer Just for 5 Pounds sent it to me to try out their site. I was surprised by how quickly it arrived, all the way from England! Super cute, super chic, and super CHEAP; in fact, EVERYTHING on their site is only 5 pounds (current approx. $8.29 USD!). I think I’ve found a new treasure trove of bargains to add to my shopping list!!! Thank you, JustFor5Pounds!white_jacket_ammophotog_stylespygirl_1_edited

  1. So I remembered you wrote this article, so I came back to look at it again, because I bought a white (-ish) jacket that I’m just not quite sure what to do with. Imagine my surprise when one of your photos is of you holding the exact jacket in question – the lace one from Loft. I have no idea what to do with the dang thing. Just wanted to share that with you. 🙂 Thanks for all your great posts and articles.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment, Ann! The easiest way to start wearing a white jacket is to throw it on over a solid colored tank top and jeans. Easy-peasy! Add some cool necklaces, and the jacket gives your outfit instant dress-up style. Let me know how it goes!
