a very busy girl. Between blogging, Fashion segments on KTVB, photo shoots, and styling clients, I often run myself ragged trying to get everything done. Oh, and I’m a wife & mother, so add grocery shopping, cooking meals, helping with homework, and spending time with family to that list. Can you relate? The thought of taking an afternoon off to go pamper myself doesn’t occur to me very often. I put it in the “would be nice if…” category of my life.

So when Spa Urbana in downtown Boise recently contacted me, asking if I would come review their Spa and receive a relaxing facial, I jumped at the chance! Last month I put together a makeover as an auction item for Bogus Basin’s First Annual Bogus Bash fundraiser. The young lady who won received a generous gift card to Boise Towne Square Mall, wardrobe styling and shopping assistance from me, hair and makeup services from Graeber & Company Salon, and the opportunity to reveal her new look LIVE on KTVB Channel 7’s midday news. week I had the fun & awesome privilege of helping out at Wizards of the Coast’s Magic booth at PAX. It was my first time at this, or any other gamers’ expo! Football Season

have a confession to make: I love football. But probably not in the ways most people do… I don’t follow stats or rosters very closely, nor do I know all the players’ names. I don’t really remember important games, or understand all the reasons those yellow flags fly onto the field at the tiniest mistake. But I love football culture.
